House on Water Ltd. has built in London for many years, and has an ongoing local production in the UK combining our Scandinavian technology and local UK labor. Our main focus is to deliver a high quality to our customers. Our concrete hull HUBB® has the strictest Scandinavian approvals as the only one of its kind. Our engineers are very much into innovative and sustainable solutions. It does not have to be a floating home by house on water Ltd., we are also very much into affordable houses and student accommodation.

Anders Halsteen, Copenhagen is the architect behind this project. It is build on our concrete hull HUBB®. The architecture is purposely made so it gives privacy towards the quay side, and a view towards the river. The architectural style, impression and materials are Nordic. The exterior is black stained red cedar and triple glazed windows, framed in mahogany. The interior is contemporary and minimalist. Very danish.

This floating home by House on Water Ltd. - is the most innovative we have ever produced. It is designed to fulfill the need of a modern family. It does not feel like a boat at all. The interiors flexible spaces makes it possible to use this home for several different purposes. The internal and external areas are well integrated. So by opening a large folding door, the kitchen suddenly has the double size. All terraces face different directions and always provides a place where the wind can't find its way.

This concrete hull HUBB® weighs 125 tonnes and has a major importance in providing very little movement of the floating home. Most often there is no movement at all. If it decides to move it will be very calm movements, because of the weight. Our concrete hull HUBB® is maintenance free and not painted or treated at all, but loved by the sea life. Mussels, seaweed grow on it, and fish shrimps love to live there. The ducks and swans also love to eat the seaweed growing on the concrete hull.

The heat source is the river. We have installed a heat pump, which helps produce all the warm water for the floor heating and warm water used for showers etc. The heat pump system extracts its heat from the water in the river. The heat pump can also cool the floor.

All in and outdoor lights are led and the many large windows, that are triple glazed, argon filled with low U- value. A huge skylight minimizes the need for electrical light.
