Houseboat - floating stage

Dirkmarine build a 3000 m2 floating stage for the Danish real estate financing institute "Nykredit". The stage is 25 m wide and 20 m long, and the total weight is approximately 550 tons. The stage is being

moved around in Copenhagen harbour, and has been used for Concerts, ballets and events. The stage is moored for some days at the chosen place and all that needs to be added is electricity and water. Underneath the stage, inside the concrete hull, changing and bathing facilities have been made for the artists. To be able to move around with all the gear, there is also installed an equipment elevator.

The floating stage is covered by a roof construction in steel, artistically designed as a wave, and prepared to lift light and equipment.
